Would there be a minimum speed involved in that? Or would you be
including slow-moving/stationary motorway traffic?
Maybe only 3 years for that <g>. Actually, such a case would be heard by
magistrates rather than in a crown court, so there would be a limit of 6
months anyway. Since it is an offence to *speak* on a hand-held phone in a
motorway traffic jam, it is a more serious offence (in my opinion, at least)
to *text* under these conditions.
