To clarify I was referring to the banks of about 6 large headlight type
units across the front of a cab roof. Are they just used as large markers
or do they get used on full power?
I used to have them when I drove to Russia where the roads are very poor and
they were a real boon when driving in darkness- and in the north in winter
it never got light.
The ones you mostly see though are simply a manifestation of the excessive
wages paid to HGV drivers, causing them to splurge large amounts of money on
unneccesary 24volt doo-daddery.
