Nonsense.

Other road users are allowed to pass me legally.

They aren't supposed to pass me illegally - i.e. when there are double
white lines down the middle of the road, and passing me would mean
crossing the double lines, or on the approach to a pedestrain crossing
when there are zig zag lines along the sides and middle of the road.
