Ah, so you read minds, do you? In which case, why have you got it so
wrong? You see, so far as I am concerned all politicians are the
same; lying, parasitic scum. I don't give a rat's arse what they call
themselves, what colour their literature is, whether they are "Left"
or "Right". They're filth, all of them. And they lie. That joke about
their mouths moving? It isn't a joke. And making stupid party
political points is utterly irrelevant so far as I am concerned. One
sack of *** in a suit looks, behaves and is just like any other sack
of *** in a suit.

The politicians lied. End of discussion.

The very thought of seeking power over your fellow humans should
automatically disbar you from public service (politics, police, traffic
warden.. whatever..) The kind of mind that seeks power is exactly the type
of mind that should never, ever have it.

Jury service style politics, six months stint, and only people who have to
be dragged there kicking and screaming would do nicely.
