How is indicating right to a tailgater informing them of intent?

You can indicate an instruction or at least a suggestion but how do
you indicate someone's intent to them? Can you read their minds?
My suggestion, if accepted, becomes their intent.

keeps indicating that he wants to turn right just when I get a
chance to overtake.
I wouldn't do it unless you were the twat tailgating me. Do you

Im trying to work out which country you're from and whether
"indicating right" is therefore an acceptable... ie, the same as our

Some people, especially London taxis, if they use indicators at all,
use them to indicate right of way! Not if I'm to their right,

It's not an aggressive response. It's a perfectly reasonable reaction
to one. But taxi drivers always bow down, since being off the road
for accident repairs costs them money.



No they don't, I drove straight on, the taxi tried to bleed in from the right I kept going, so did he, I knew we were going to collide but I didn't give way, nor did he, result dented taxi and much wailing and gnashing of teeth from it's driver. Foolish to attempt to play chicken with an ancient Land Rover driven by a truck driver.
