As I said before, I know from personal experience that you *don't*
always lock the wheels by doing this.
Would be surprising if it were otherwise, as it depends on the
condition of the brakes, tyres, and nature of the road surface.

Aha - do we have a convert?
You've always hitherto maintained that you *would* always lock the wheels
without ABS and therefore, when ABS is present, that it is *always* invoked
in an emergency stop.
I'm glad you've seen the light of day!
