friendsofderek@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (friendsofderek@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) gurgled
happily, sounding much like they were saying :
He was at a roundabout, traffic plod behind him. Car approaching on
the right of the roundabout with left indicator to come off at the
exit it was on but didn't and carried on towards us, while that car
was indicating left my friend assumed they're going off that exit
Even though he wasn't in the outside lane of the roundabout?
Does it say which lane?
"Car approaching on the right of the roundabout with left indicator on"
I read that as being in L2 of a two-lane roundabout, indicating left -
perhaps to exit, perhaps to move to L1.
and pulled out and it charged towards him. Traff plod pulled him over.
For pulling out in front of another vehicle.
I was wondering what he did wrong \ why would he have got pulled over
For carving somebody else up.
he leans the valuable lesson of not trusting indicators :)
*ding*
OK, so they were indicating incorrectly, but that's hardly unusual
which is why you never trust it; so many people don't have a clue
about indicators its scary.
Near me is a large roundabout that timid drivers go around in lane 1
while indicating right....
There are several roundabouts near here which I intensely dislike using,
because of the sheer incompetence of other drivers. The paint on the road
surface may as well not be there to many.
and what charge he may face ?
DWDC&A - but far more likely is a bollocking.
again it will mainly depend on his attitude and the mood of the plod.
