As I was driving to work today, I got to the bottom of my road, and being bin day, there was a truck at the bottom.
The refuse truck had pulled to the junction of the island, stopped, and I thought he was going to wait 30 seconds or so for people to load the stuff in, and be off round the island.
Instead, to my surprise, the guy gets out of his cab, and assists his mates who are running to the truck from all over the place with refuse bags, and picking up paper off the floor.
I go to overtake, but this guy is literally on the junction.
Never mind being too close to the junction, he was physically at the junction. Nothing could legally get to the junction.
With no where to go, I ended up going the wrong way round the bollard and entered the island incorrectly all because of some ignorant, arrogant inconsiderate twat with a truck parked blocking the junction.
I've made a complaint to the council, anything more I can do, or indeed, have I committed a crime?

It's a Bank Holiday week and they have to collect 5 days-worth of rubbish in four days, so give them a break. Anyway the schools are off and there's hardly any morning rush hour so your journey was probably still quicker than normal.
