Hey,

As I was driving to work today, I got to the bottom of my road,
and being bin day, there was a truck at the bottom.

The refuse truck had pulled to the junction of the island,
stopped, and I thought he was going to wait 30 seconds or so
for people to load the stuff in, and be off round the island.

Instead, to my surprise, the guy gets out of his cab, and
assists his mates who are running to the truck from all over
the place with refuse bags, and picking up paper off the floor.

I go to overtake, but this guy is literally on the junction.

Never mind being too close to the junction, he was physically
at the junction. Nothing could legally get to the junction.

With no where to go, I ended up going the wrong way round the bollard and entered the island incorrectly all because of some
ignorant, arrogant inconsiderate twat with a truck parked
blocking the junction.

I've made a complaint to the council, anything more I can do,
or indeed, have I committed a crime?

You're just another impatient tosser who wants a job doing but
won't give the people doing it the time and space to get on with
it. The refuse lorry driver was behaving just like you and every
one else on the road, the job they're doing comes first and other
people will have to put up with it. Next time go out of the road
from the other end if you're in that much of a hurry.

Yah bullcrap mate.

If the guy hadn't parked in the junction, there wouldn't have been
a problem. If he didn't get out of the cab and start picking up
loads of rubbish, there wouldn't have been a problem.

Perhaps you need to change your shopping habits to cut down on
rubbish?

Ooh, good comeback!

Im not impatient, but when someone parks in the junction, what are
you to do?

Wait for the minute they are there. Try to imagine driving one of
those things, then imagine trying to find a parking spot for each
pickup - the round would take ten times longer!

Honestly, you really do not know the road I live in. He could have pulled up two metres earlier and would have been within a closer distance to the rubbish.
