Because changing the valves is generally accepted as being good
practice when tyres are changed.
....but IME the costs are not included in the quoted price.
And since the caps
were clearly different from the ones he supplied, doesn't he have a
duty to ask if I want my property back?
Would you have expected him to ask if you wanted the old balance
weights back, too?
If you had color coded, manufacturer badged caps would you want them back
instead of the cheap plastic ones?
