BITD, the autotrader system was updated on a wednesday evening
in preparation for the print run. as it's mainly web driven these days
and the technology somewhat more up to date than when I worked there,
I woud imagine that it's a rolling 24/7 system. as before, you have to
phone
early enough to be the 1st caller rather than the second.

When I sold my car through Autotrader recently, the web version was up
within a hour or so of the ad being submitted. I was a bit annoyed really, I
would have preferred that the web advert went live on the Thursday, so that
everyone got a fair chance. However, this wasn't an option.

If you want to bag a bargain, you should do a search every couple of hours.
The underpriced cars go in no more than that time frame.
