You'd think that BMW would have fitted a throttle with slightly more
subtlety than just "On" and "Off", wouldn't you?
If only they had, the OP wouldn't have had to put all 192 (or however many)
horsies down onto the snow at once. He could have just fed a *little* extra
power in.
