Yesterday evening four of us had a very pleasant meal at a village pub near Scarborough. I had two pints of Stella and did the driving, about 56 miles or so in total.
You are joking? That's about 6 units of alchohol. Unless you are a hardened drinker and/or a big fat ***, I'm having a good guess you would be well over the limit for driving.
I would often drink a pint of normal lager in a pub before driving home, but I was aware that my driving style changed - taking more chances and driving faster than normal - so now I don't drink at all when driving. If I drunk 2 pints of Stella, I would feel very noticibly pissed, but then I'm not what you would call an experienced drinker, or a big fat *** for that matter.
