REally? Strange then once in the mid 90's when there was a load of
paper reels in Hull to be delivered to a printers in Southampton and
the presses had come to a halt until they were delivered that the
phrase "name your price" cropped up. Charged double the rate to do the
job.
Strange when last week I went to pick up a load of chocolate Santas to
go to a House of Frasier RDC and there was a pallet left over which
wouldn't fit that the customer phoned the haulier I was working for to
see if they had a van they could pay for.
