These are the only operations I have seen in and around the Poole area since
I have been here for 10 years.

Not strange, I think most would think it odd that if real officers are
deployed (as they should be) to monitor traffic, they would be used in the
places where there are frequently serious accidents, not in store car parks

I don't switch my phone off whenever I'm not expecting a call.
