2. Incitement to "kill-file" someone (publicly or privately) should be
considered as a serious offence too.
would probably be covered under general considerations of politeness,
relevance.
"kill-file" someone else. The type of bulling and coercion as witnessed
here.
I don't know if you use "incitement" to mean anything other than
"encourage",
More like "provoke" or "stir up".
but if not, I see no reason why this should be outlawed.
It is an unfair (bullying) pressure on a poster to ignore someone.
Since the existence of a 3rd party's kf can't be verified I don't see
how coercion and bullying can play a role in it.
Other than if they continue to "correspond" with the target alleged "troll".
IMO it is entirely
reasonable to warn a troll-wrestler that they are on the verge of
being killfiled themselves,
As has been said before, one person's "troll" is another person's hero poster. To attempt to force someone, under fear of ex-communication, to stop interacting with a certain target "troll" (who may be being victimised for some other reason) is unacceptable behaviour.
if that is what you refer to. But that
doesn't relate to their kf, merely their repeated contribution to
pointless flame-wars.
Not necessarily. In the past, individuals have been branded a "troll" by some who have either misunderstood their views or vehemently disagreed with them, whilst at the same time others have continued to interact with them and indeed praise their contributions. Needless to say, the more dominant and aggressive "troll-bashing" posters attempted to "persuade" the others to toe the line. That is classic bulling - of those who wish to continue to interact with the supposed "troll" and actually of the victim "troll". That cannot be tolerated.
