One armed guys on HPV's

So here it is ---- not really sure whether I should post this or not ( I have removed this line from the end of the post and put it here -- you will see why. Just think before you make any reply please.) I am not sure I have done the right thing her at all.
Just looking ahead a bit, due to presently going through the early stages of investigation into a "thing" in the bone of my upper right arm.
In a worst case scenario it could be possible that I would undergo some loss ( how much?) of the bone structure of my right arm.So I am starting to look at the possibility of retaining cycling mobility with various reduced means of control of steering, brakes and gear changing.
A basic presumption is that I shall lose the ability to ride a bicycle and will need a trike of some kind.
I should like some sensible steering advice as to possible directions that I might take.
Now I do not want all sorts of platitudes -- in any case it is far too early to know what is going to happen to me!
But
I am having good and rapid medical support from the NHS and I am happy ( sic) that all necessary actions are taking place. They, and I, do not know whether or not my "thing" is dangerous or not but after 6 weeks from an innocuous x-ray that started me on this route I am entering the decisive stage of finding out what is going on. It does seem more important than everyone first thought!
That route is quite firmly fixed and in process of happening and I do not want it to become part of open discussion here.
What I do need is ideas and advice because cycling is such an important part of my daily life and I am looking to be able to maintain more (or less) "hpv" mobility as I can
I very nearly bought a Trice recumbent 2 and a bit years ago but fell out with the makers on delivery day. However their recumbents are in fact just a big box of parts which need assembling. And if one needs specialised modifications then the price sky rockets.
So what I should like is some low key and sensible advice that I can start looking at as I progress through my present situation. I am and have been a lone cyclist and very much self reliant. It is going to be quite a hard path to travel if things go down the route of medication and various therapies.
On the other hand it might all just turn out to be just a simple amputation from the neck down! I say that in a sort of serious jest which is actually not very funny! Sorry about a poor pun!
The surgeon who spent time with me last week said about my biopsy, next week-- "Don't worry, I've done lots of them". Mine is a bit different and clearly difficult cos it is being done under and active CT scan cos they don't know quite where, in a difficult area, to take the sample of bone
My response was " Yes but it is my first!""
So guys, anyone who can post with advice which stays on the subject of cycling for incapacitated people will be welcomed. Others who stray into medical moroseness will be plonked ( at least temporarily!)
I have just reviewed all this post to decide whether to actually post it or not
