Would an actual traffic copper have been more likely to spot the 3
faulty tyres? Would the copper have been more likely to see someone who
may have been driving too fast for the conditions?
Dunno, but an actual traffic copper is more likely to have had time
to do these things if he's not tied up with processing speeding
fines - which of course he now isn't, since that's handled by
civvies. Good outcome, then - real plod get to do things that
require judgment and machines do the things that can be automated.
Much like most fields of endeavour these days, in fact.
So, since you're so in favour of automatically and indiscriminately
enforcing laws which were never intended to be automatically and
indiscriminately enforced, I assume you wouldn't have a problem with
cannabis smoke sensors in everyone's home which took a photo of those
smoking the cannabis and sent it to the police?
Except that you would, because you know that whether it "enforces the
law" or not, such a system would be counterproductive, not in the
public interest, and totally contrary to common sense. You know it
would unnecessarily criminalise millions of responsible, decent folk
who weren't doing any harm to anyone. You know that discretionless
speed limit enforcement is in the same boat. But the difference is
that you don't have it in for cannabis users, whereas you do for
motorists, so your attitude towards indiscriminate speed enforcement
is "Normally I don't like discretionless law enforcement, but anything
which makes life hell for those motorists has got to be a good thing -
EVEN IF IT COSTS LIVES" (and that last bit is what really makes me
hate you, as opposed to just finding you objectionable).
You're so psychopathically determined to *** all over motorists that
you're prepared to discard pretty much all of the principles that you
normally have: your belief in sensible, proportional and beneficial
law enforcement; your belief in not interfering unnecessarily with
others; your belief in not KILLING PEOPLE; your belief in not being a
lying, evasive fuckwit (oh hang on, you're like that all the time, as
evidenced by Wikipedia among countless other places); your belief in
not discriminating against large groups of people (oh hang on, you do
that all the time as well, as evidenced by your homophobic actions to
name but one time when you've hit out at a huge group of people just
for the sheer hell of it).
You're the sick ***. You're the one who campaigns to kill road
users. You're the one whose father was (allegedly, according to
Encyclopedia Dramatica) a paedophile, who (allegedly) abused you,
resulting in (allegedly) you doing the same thing in turn to others.
You're a twisted, lying, motorist-hating ***.
