Quoting Nigel Cliffe <m...@xxxxxxxxxxx>:

From the NNTP server I use, someone called NuxxBar made postings to the

The post Guy reports as forgery was made at 12:48 from the same IP address.

I may die of not surprised. Well dug.

Today is Wednesday, July.

Hang on, nuxxy set up a new user name and posted as Guy, from the same
computer, to claim he's won the debate?

Is this, like, a public mental breakdown or summat?

Oh look, the "calling other people mental" part of Spindrift's mental
illness is manifesting itself again. Your illness waxes and wanes,
doesn't it, Spindrift? You were seemingly quite lucid a couple of
days ago, although of course you were still a motorist-hating git.
Please get the help you need, for your own sake, as well as that of
others. How many thousands of people from how many different forums
need to certify you as crackers before you'll accept it? (Criminally
crackers as well, and not just online either, as we know.)

The funny/telling thing is that everyone who read that post believed
that it was Crapman. Everyone knows that he's a lying anti-motorist
piece of shit. Everyone accepted it as genuine: no-one replied with
"Hang on, that doesn't sound like you", or "OMG, you've changed your
mind", or anything like that. Crapman spouting hateful anti-motorist
rubbish is nothing new round here. Hell, Crapman himself didn't even
bother denying that that was what he thought.

Anyway, assuming that it was even me (perhaps it was someone else in
the building, or our wireless network wasn't secure, or maybe Crapman
or one of the trolls hacked in over the Internet), what about that
post was a "forgery"? My name is Guy (Crapman said so himself), and I
like The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. If using uce@xxxxxxx as an
email address, so that scammers send the Federal Trade Commission
their chain scam emails, is a forgery, then Crapman's posts are also
forgeries. Furthermore, does Crapman have exclusive rights to warn
people that his posts may contain irony, or to talk about helmet
statistics? And if another poster thinks that Crapman's Site Of Hate
is so excellent (or, more likely, comical, and not in a good way) that
they want to post a link to it, what's the problem with that? Lots of
people link to other people's websites in their signatures.

Crapman and his hideous, disgusting troll-friends should be careful
about throwing around words such as "forgery". Nothing about that
post definitively said "I am the Guy Chapman who cycles, hates
motorists and is from Reading". A poster with the name of Guy
Cuthbertson is perfectly within his rights to use the "From" header
and signature contained within that post.

If Crapman doesn't want people using the same headers/signatures as
him, he should set the "From" header to "Guy Chapman", using his own
email address (with a spam trap if necessary), and put something like
"Guy Chapman, Reading, UK" and then "My Site Of Hate: http://www.chapmancentral.co.uk";
in his signature. (You know, like that prick of a lowly lab assistant
from University Of Dundee who pretentiously sets out his signature as
if he's some kind of lecturer...talk about bitter.) Only then could
he reasonably use the word "forgery" about someone else using the same
headers/signature.

But that won't stop the trolls from moaning and claiming otherwise.
That is what happens here on uk.rec.anti-motorist. The trolls make
malicious, unfounded, agenda-driven statements based on falsehoods. A
non-troll patiently explains in simple words exactly how such
statements are unfounded and based on falsehoods. The trolls then
dishonestly pretend not to have seen the explanation (because they
can't argue with it), and continue to make the same malicious,
unfounded statements. The same pattern then continues again and
again. It's been going on for several years regarding cameras, for
example. The trolls simply aren't bothered one iota about whether
there is any truth in what they claim: as long as they're having a go
at motorists and/or those who dare not to be anti-motorist, they
couldn't care less if they're lying or not.

Ridiculous, ludicrous, absurd, preposterous, farcical trolls. Not
very good.

If anyone copies this signature, I'll complain about their post being
a "forgery". Similarly, if anyone else uses the handle "Nuxx Bar",
that'll also be a forgery, because I'm so important that no-one else
is allowed to use the same handle as me (even though normal Internet
"rules" do not prevent more than one person from using the same
handle). Having said that, my usenet email address is actually real
(even though I don't check it, in case any of the trolls have sent
unhinged abuse and/or death threats), so there is at least one part of
this post which is uniquely identifiable to me, unlike in Crapman's
posts (yet he has the nerve to call me an "anonymous coward"...it's
yet another quality piece of utter hypocrisy from the Queen Troll!)
