It seems like an obviously bad idea, but like helmet wearing, there is
some cast doubt on this common sense conclusion, especially given the
TfL paper saying red-light jumpers (not runners) may be safer than those
who stick to the letter of the law.
But it's a hot-button issue with both pedestrians and motorists, so
makes for good headlines in the red tops.
