good companies who ideally....
- do an organised group thing.
- do a decent distance. I've found some that do an average of maybe
30 miles per day. 60-80 would be more my thing.
- reasonably cushy and supported. I've already got a couple of
fully laden weeks in Germany booked for August so could do with some
luxury. (Although by 'luxury' I mean not having to carry my own
stuff, camping isn't a problem.)
- Italy would be my favourite destination, but anywhere reasonably
warm.
- cheap and plentiful beer.
- the odd decent sized mountain.
Any ideas gratefully received.
How about Graham Baxters Sportingtours trip to the Vuelta in
September, its not cheap, but is good value for what you get. You can
see the race as well as the cycling between stages ( if you want). 4
& 5 star hotels all the way and race accreditation. And of course
you get to meet me !!!

Just had a quick look and it does look interesting. Definitely a
possibility.
We'll be on our 5th Vuelta trip with Graham this year. I have priced up other similar trips, and Grahams prices come in considerably cheaper, The cyclists always seem to be happy with the standard of cycling on offer. Marcelino Garcia ( ex CSC) guides the harder rides. And there is usually a couple of options available.
