But they /do/ ping across the room without going anywhere towards removing the tyre. IME, anyway.

I've had a set in my toolbox for the last few years, but I only use them if I can't find anything else that's not bent.

I bought some interesting looking levers a couple of weeks ago, but haven't actually tried them yet.
