In what way is that relevant when the economy and the tax system we are discussing is that of the UK.
and has not the slightest right to feel put upon in any way regarding taxes.
In an equitable tax system the amount you pay into the general pot is based upon the amount of 'disposable' income you have, or at least on what you earn. Fuel duty is completely indiscriminant.
