Dec. 1 2004, my insurance was renewed, house and contents.
Dec. 3 2004, my sons bike was stolen from outside college, they also
took the lock, a daughter of a friend saw the bike locked up when she
left college. Informed Police, got crime number, rang insurance
expecting nothing, but they asked for all details, where, what lock,
crime number, serial number.
Few days later was contacted by a company on behalf of insurance, we
agreed a value and they quoted 2 bikes, went away and had a look,
phoned them back with the one we wanted, took delivery before
christmas.
Didn't have a problem.
