I have signed your petition mrsmorris as I feel that the petition is a
worthy cause
I personally think that our green countryside should be protected from airport developments such as Heathrow and Stansted
I would also like to say that the present green belt land should not be developed just to support housing for the overwheming EEC influx of european imigrants to this country
I am at present a full time husband and carer
of my wife and we have been married for nearly 30 years!! my wife is an housebound OAP who is suffering anti-social behaviour, harrassment and assualt and is unable to find alternative accomodation despite numerous request's to the local authorities after aproximately 6 months
I am not a racialist or against anyone from outside of our country but I do feel that the people who where promised a better life after the second world war deserve better respect from the the local council's and there councillers and also the MP's of all the political parties of the UK
Kind Regards
Aesop
Furthermore to what I have previously stated the GMP (Greater Manchester Police) force have failed to responded to my call to take a statement to them for the assault for nearly 30 hours!!
Do they serve and protect the decent citizens of the UK I don't think so! even if you make a 999 call to them they do not respond immediately and even in extreme circustances they take a few hours to respond
since Gordon Brown has taken over the country it is being run like a businness, laws and taxes and indeed anything unlawful seems to be only viable if it can make money, he seems to be obsessed with making money through exorbitant fines and taxation which affect most of the social minority that the Labour goverment where elected to represent
the crime rate in greater Manchester (and maybe allover the country) has hit the roof and expecially in the Middleton Manchester area where I live they do not have the law enforcement officers to deal with the increased crime rate due to the goverment caps on the police expenditure
If the truth be known they have over the previous years cut the resources of the GMP (Greater Manchester Police) force thus cutting the number of policemen out on the streets, even though the greater Manchester police area along with Merseyside has some of the greatest crime rates outside of the London area
while not wishing to be over political about the present state of the UK today the goverment has spent nearly all of the money that Gordon Brown put aside in his treasury chest on the unlawful war in Iraq and the the british forces being present in Afghanistan,
He also seems to have forgotten that the Labour goverment also made a pledge to the people of the UK that they would be strong on crime and the causes of crime,
If you throw a ciggarete dimp on the floor in the centre of Middleton,Manchester or you are parent with a 5 year old child who has thougthlessy thrown a potato chip on the floor to feed the pidgeons you will probaberly be presented with an instant £50 fine by the ever present CPO's!
but if you happen to be a victim of a real crime and a descent law abiding citizen of the local community and you live away from the town centre you cannot expect any immediate response as the police and the CPO's are far to busy making money!!
by the way the local police station in Middleton,Manchester shuts down in the evening's through the week and is not operational at the weekend's when most crimes are committed (and they wonder why crime in Middleton is so rife)
As I post under the name of Aesop
my moral to the above story is do not believe all of the political hype and political spin that the goverment prescribes to you!!
also please don't think that I am against the Labour goverment as I and all of my family have been labour supporters all of our lifes
but I have to say that I am sadly becoming dissolusioned by the performance of the government
