Win a day of spy training and discover espionage skills
A new thriller has added a twist to the adrenalin-fuelled spy genre with a
Muslim FBI agent as its lead character.
Sleeper Cell stars Michael Ealy [of films Barbershop and 2 Fast 2 Furious
fame] as Darwyn Al Sayeed. Sayeed has spent three years infiltrating a
fundamentalist group operating out of Los Angeles. Darwyn?s mission is not
only to bring down the cell, but also to take the FBI inside the al-Qaeda
network.
The show airs on the digital channel FX every Tuesday night at 10pm and is
repeated every Sunday night at 10pm from April 11. To celebrate the arrival
of the hit American drama on British screens, FX is offering one Times
Online reader and companion the chance to train as a spy for one day. FX is
available on Sky, NTL and Homechoice.
During the training session, winners will practice weapon skills with
machine guns, sniper rifles and axe throwing. The day also includes VIP
protection training and an opportunity to conduct covert surveillance using
genuine spy gadgets. In addition, the winners will learn evasive driving
techniques such as J-turns, skid control and slalom driving.
