Carmel, the suggestion Janette and Ian made of doing a system restore
has worked for me. I had to go back to March 18th, before a Windows
update that downloaded automatically on the 19th. Hope that helps.

Tried some sites again - STILL nothing.
Been through the activation procedure, although I thought that wasn't
necessary just for Flash player, downloaded ActiveX again just in case
I'd lost that too, run Windows update, restarted everything in site,
looked through my firewall settings to make sure I haven't
inadvertantly blocked it - STILL nowt.
Has anybody any idea what I'm doing wrong and how I can put it right?
What are you running IE6 or 7 or Fx ?
