im looking for someone knowledgeable on ebay i won an auction on ebay
and then sent the postal orders to the seller who said they hadnt
arrived (i know i should have registered them) but the real problem is
that the seller said she would wait a few days to see if they turned up
and then opened an unpaid item dispute the same day. I was ok with
that because i thought "she doesnt know me". Then she put the item back
up for sale, didnt tell me and continued asking me for the payment. i
was looking at the bidding on the item i won and i noticed one bidder
who had kept edging my bid up was now "no longer a registered ebayer"
which i thought was weird so had a look at her feedback and clicked on
an item she had bought two weeks ago and it was the same item im having
the problem with! and i mean ecactly the same the picture it even had
the date in red along the side, and the write up on it was very nearly
exact. So this bidder who was bidding on the item i won, with me, had
actually bought the item two weeks ago if you see what i mean, she had
bought it for £10.99 and was now bidding £55 to buy it again,
obviously just bidding me up. Im very worried about sending the money
again as this item has now been listed three times and sold to three
different people in the last three weeks. Ive been in touch with ebay
and they have sent an automated reply so still non the wiser what to do
and the seller is pushing me too send payment and making suggestions
about bad feedback. Ive offered to pick up the item and give her the
money but she says that she will only send the item by post and will
only accept disguised cash or postal orders. At a loss what to do now
if anyone has any advise id greatly appreciate it
