Christ, the money you have wasted on that shed! You could have saved
it
and bought a decent car. Didn't you have anyone to take to check it
for
you before buying it?
You obviously haven't a clue what to look for when buying a car -
checking
it runs is quite important and most obvious!
Get the AA or RAC next time.

Oh do *** off, you tedious minge.

It's one of robs cars he's talking about so in this case he's probably
right. I'm guessing it was an accident though.

I've spent most of today changing the sump on a mates 205 gti. There are
5 different sumps that Peugeot list for a 1.6 gti, the one that fits his
is listed as a 405 part, it used a random mixture of hex sockets and
normal bolts (almost as if the french cunts had run out of the correct
ones half way through and though these will fit instead) and the threads
for the sump plug and oil temp sensor are a different size on the new
sump (bodged with 2 new sump plugs).

Really? I've always managed to interchange sumps without problems. I've
swapped one from a 309 SR (with oil temp plug) to a 309 GL (originally
without oil temp plug). Then the sump from the GL went onto a 205 1.6 GTi.
I think (although not 100% certain) the sump from my mashed 205 Dt went on a
205 1.6 GTi. I'm sure mates have swapped sumps across GTis before as cars
used on events without guards tend to get the sumps bent/holed.

We must be lucky (or you unlucky!!).
