IT, IMO is a pain in the arse. I've got a mate who's going into it and will
be making a fortune (and working far too much), but the vast majority of
stuff is massively underpaid for the amount of knowledge you have to know.
The other day I was looking at jobs, and the was a part time position as a
secretary / receptionist at £6.50 an hour, and a SQL knowing IT assistant at
£6...
.
