Spent last hour putting in new instrument binnacle as speedo and ammeter on old one was knackered.

Couldn't get it to start before putting it back together as battery was a bit too flat.

Anyways, puts it all back together, jump starts it and someone has dicked around with the potentiometer on the rev counter and calibrated a 4 pot one for a V6.....

Worst part is I was toying with the idea of just swapping over the two duff gauges on my old one.

So tomorrow, I'm doing it all again. Seems to be a common theme when I do binnacle swaps.

I've done so many of them on Capris, I've got it down to under an hour from start to finish.

'kin ell.

An hour? That's a 20 minute job even including the little hidden screws behind the lower steering wheel cover...
