idea what it could be?
The connector isn't reliably pushing down the bit on the valve stem to
allow the air to go into the tyre. What you're seeing is the pump
pressurising the flexi pipe 'cos there's nowhere for the air to go to.
Try being a bit more forceful when you fit the bit to the valve.
