Having thrown even more money at Mondeo TDCi 115 having diesel pump and
injectors replaced I now find that a few times when accelerating hard the
engine begins to misfire and the glow plug light flashes. Turning
ignition
off and restarting engine cures the problem. Any ideas before I return to
the garage who did the work.
Thought the TDCi was only 130 flavour? (earlier TDDi was 115) Anyhow,
either
its overboosting, or the fuel rail pressure sensor is up the spout. (or
the
pump is supplying too much pressure to the rail under full power)
TDCi comes in 115 & 130 flavours. Sorry don't know what's wrong with yours
though.
