AstraVanMan (Peter@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) gurgled happily,
sounding much like they were saying :
I'm asking here as alt.autos.peugeot is a little quiet. My
newly-acquired 205 GTi needs a service and I can't do it myself as my
Golf is in the garage on axle stands. :)
Where abouts are you? Is Wokingham too far? Give Pete Sparrow at PTS
Developments a call - details at www.ptsdevelopments.com - just had
him do some emergency clutch surgery on my Citroen van - and I can
certainly add to the good reports I've heard about his garage - top
bloke, really seems to know his stuff, and charges sensible prices as
well. Don't know exactly where you are, but it's not more than 15-20
minutes from the Junction 3 of the M3 at Bagshot.
I'll second Peter's recommendation of Pete Sparrow.
If you're nearer the NW corner of the M25, then try Louis Barbour in Great
Missenden (near Wycombe/Amersham). www.2cv4x4.com
If Beds/A1 is handier, then Rob Moss at Chevronics in Arlesey
(www.chevronics.co.uk)
.
