1, I have just replaced the Ball on my towbar, what should toe torque
setting be, I have set it to 125 Newtons (whatever they are) feels tight to

The Newton is a unit of force. One Newton is equal to 101.972 grams,
0.224809 lb, or 3.59694 oz.

Torque is a unit of twist from the Latin torqueo meaning I twist.
Torque is measured in newton-meters or foot-pounds.

One foot-pound is where a force of one pound is applied to a spanner
one foot long. You can use a spring balance to measure the force or a
proper torque wrench.

One newton-meter is where a force of one Newton is applied to a
spanner one meter long.

I hope this pedantic explanation helps.

A word of warning, if you have am "alko" hitch with a stabiliser
NEVER use grease !!! and get all the paint off with whatever is
