Well Dave.
There is the fishing. For those young at heart there is Alton Towers.
For the shop-aholic Matlock, Matlock Bath, Buxton, Leek & Derby.
Hartington for the best of cheese?s. If Sport is your thing. Ashbourne
has Shrovetide Football, www.ashbourne-town.com/events/football.html
(soccer is poop around here), Motor Cycle Racing at Darley Moor,
www.darleymoor.co.uk and for water sports you can get to Carsington
which is open every day of the year and is always busy on its cycle
trail and its bird hides, shops, restaurant & playground.

Not forgetting previous postings, I think you will agree, to much to do
in one weekend

Enjoy your stay.
