camping around loch lomond

Hi - can anyone recommend a quiet place to pitch a tent around loch lomond -
avoiding noise if possible ... also, can anyone explain the "rules" with
regard to wild camping ....??? I have heard that there are rules.... but
no-one seems to be exact on what the rules are-
