How was Mardi Gras this year compared with previous? I know your area
got off lightly but I'm guessing some (most?) of NO is still in a

I don't know much of NO but the bits I knew best (the convention
centre and the superdome) probably got most coverage over here in the
UK. It was weird to see the state they were both in.

Glad to hear that the French Quarter escaped lightly though.

I take it you're not still driving ships for a living then?
