Nope - paid nothing more. TRhe package was labelled up as Goods = $25. I guess thats kept it below the £18 tax free import allowance. Came quick too - only a week from the ebay payment.

Yep - I agree... I need to allow it to roll back a little and then trust that the lip holding it on my shoulders will stop it from falling. WHen using a pad in the past, there's obviously nowt there to hold it on so I've always sat it wuite high up.

Good tip - and if I dont let myself hold the bar firmly with my hands, I'll have to have it in the right plave lower down my back as it will likely just sit there due to the shape of it.

I was loving it by about the third set...! What I have noticed though, is that its quite had to comfortably squat with a low warm-up weight. Things seem to get easier the more plates I add. Just a shame I cant lift them all !
