Some have tripod screw mounts (at least mine do), but IME not many. You
can get attachments that will clamp onto most binoculars though.
My Swift Audubons weigh in over 1kg so it's very handy if scanning an
area for a long time (prolonged observation once something has been
found is via the scope on its tripod).
