Ah yes, the BC version of rule 5 even over land ... "well, you can fly as
low as you like whilst taking off and landing ... and we're landing ...

In my case just a PPL had the same effect, but I wouldn't mind a real lesson
one day.
As to "what's a real Beaver", not only do you want the piston engine as you
say, you also want the two blade propeller, not the namby-pamby three blade
one that they fit to reduce noise by a few hundred dB when operating in
populated areas.
