I'm so glad you used audio grade worktop for these plinths. Ordinary kitchen grade would have sounded *so* culinary.
I'll tell ya summat for nowt - that worktop is evil stuff to work! The surface splinters as soon as you look at it, it properly clogged up a new aluminium oxide sanding belt (which is going to take a lot of cleaning) and it stinks summat chronic when you sand it!! (I suspect it's 40% fish glue...!!??)
By the way, the GL72 still has a sagging bottom....
The 'droop'?? It's an age thing - I don't think it hinders 'performance' much, IYSWIM...??
:-)
if its the same as the 75 arm, its the steel wire that holds the decoupled stubb on getting saggy.
Want to try a 88? Maybe you could use it with that arm you had the other day.
Its sitting in the backroom having had nothing done to it since it was delivered. I was going to make a plinth for it and mount a 3009 I have spare on it. If you want them to play with you are welcome, I can't see myself getting to them for the next 6 months (at least). I am fully involved discovering how hard it is to drive 300b properly at the moment.
