The Dell Centrino range aren't cheap either....

(I'm beginning to wonder if I can justify a laptop - both my machines are
hard-wired, one to the printer and router and the other to the stereo
system!!)

I'm not averse to eBay, as you know - 2 more slices of Country Joe vinyl and
a V15/III cart with no stylus (for you know who ;-) tonight!! :-)

But I would not risk a laptop, I think....(???) Anyway, I'd want the full
toot - not some outdated old mutt! ;-)

I'm pondering this - I'm doubly Firewalled and Virus-checked and have
nothing to hide on the machines - wot's to risk? As to nicking my
connection, I can't see my neighbours going out to buy computers and learn
to use them just for the free ride. (Asittapens I'm not 'capped' so even
that wouldn't be a disaster!!)

Or am I missing summat??
