There was a train westbound yesterday morning.going through Ashby.
Had London underground tube carriages on it.
Anyone got more info?
That’s the one but the class 20s and their barrier vehicles, relieved
of that outsized Tube stock, don’t need to return by the same route.
They return in the early hours up the ECML.
I haven’t been able to find any timing for this hideously lengthy
journey.
It always seems to run to the same times but on unpredictable days.
I would quite like to pop along to see it at Dorridge, where I believe
it lays over in the loop there for some considerable time.
