I didn't realise Track Access charge was on a unit by unit basis -
hence for a 2 x 142 was double that of a single. Is that really how it
works?
Track access variable charges are on a vehicle by vehicle basis. AFAICR the
charge is even different for instance for EMU/DMU vehicles if they are
motored or not.
I expect Northern's main issue is that strengthening services on a Sunday
over what is specified by DfT would require additional subsidy.
