Perhaps all railway lines should be sealed off by encasing them in
concrete arches so they are in continuous tunnels. Bit of a problem
getting on and off trains or reaching them in an emergency and it
would not stop determined children, but think of the children, if
only one life is saved...
One girl, aged 13, who claimed she often sits under the bridge, said:
"There's a wall there but the way it is, it's like a ladder.
Hopefully she will decide to sit somewhere less dangerous in future.
