As it is, probably true. But if, say, Cranfield had been developed
into a full airport, being close to the M1 and WCML might have made it
quite useful (not to mention for the towns in the surrounding area).


Kidlington is not far from the M40 but, apart from Oxford, it is nowhere near
anywhere that might warrant an air service. I can't see even Oxford being
that massive a traffic generator.
