Just looking at some old pics of Manchester Victoria. Can anyone suggest
a more un-photogenic railway station?
But that reminded me of a question that arose in my mind when I was
looking at an old timetable the other day. Where were platforms 18 and
19 at Victoria? I presume they were they were Exchange?
Brian.
Yes Birmingham new street
its too dark to take any shits without a flash, which you cant use for
safty reasons, and too narrow to use a tripod and a long exposure
other than that its plug ugly!
the other one that sticks in the mind was the old waterloo E* terminal,
i tried to take a photo once,(as a kid) but was rather forcibly told by
an armed policeman that photography was strictly forbidden (it was after
passport control and came under the same regs as air-side in an airport)
I'd not been prevented from taking photos on the platform and I've seen many
other people do the same at Waterloo. I've also seen people taking photos
inside the terminal without any hassle.
