Thanks - what's the 2V restriction?
Restriction: 2V
OUTWARD & RETURN JOURNEYS
By any train except those
scheduled to depart before
0930.
I now understand that AXC have the fare setting all the way from
Birmingham to Oxford - b*st*rds....
CrossCountry had Oxford - Birmingham before NFM02 kicks into action. I
checked Tackley and that used to be a Chiltern flow, that's now a XC
flow.
Yes, Oxford to Brum fares were grabbed by AXC when the franchise
changed over - now they've got all stations Tackley - Leamington too.
I'm asking Chiltern whether they can challenge this change of fare
setter if provided with passenger counts that show the main flow is
with them, not AXC. However, I suspect Chiltern will probably come in
with their own cheaper, unrestricted pm TOC-only ticket in May.....
So the CVR has no pm restrictions? Oh, goody! that'll save a princly
50p on the anytime ticket!
