are many more people who work on Boxing day, lots of people go out
shopping, to sports games and just generally resume their lives. But

no transport for them. That, in my view, is totally unacceptable and
*must* change.
Why *must* it change? Boxing Day is only a "problem" because of greed.
People don't necessarily need to generally resume their lives. Surely we
can
have a couple of days a year when the country actually stops, save for
the
essential services, and by essential I mean the things that we need as
basics, such as emergency and power?
Is that greed of the people wanting to buy bargains in the sales, the greed
of the shops in wanting an extra day's business or the greed of the railway
workers trying to extract more money from their employer to work on the
day?
